They are now expanding on these experiences with the addition of dedicated tours for children under 12 years of age.  Children enjoy shorter, more interactive tours on the property, led by a Zulu guide, who will engage and inspire children with stories of the bravery and courage of the British soldiers and Zulu warriors.

The reserve offers a choice of accommodation in either the Lodge or the Guest House which are both owned by the Rattrays.

Spacious, luxury en-suite cottages each have private verandahs and broad views over the plains flanking the Buffalo River Gorge.

The spectacular Fugitives’ Drift property, a Natural Heritage Site, overlooks both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, and includes the site where Lieutenant Melvill and Lieutenant Coghill lost their lives saving the Queen’s Colour of their regiment.
