Villa Okavango offers a family or two couples the experience of enjoying a luxurious home in a wilderness setting.
The villa, on the opposite side of the lagoon to Abu Camp, has two large en-suite bedrooms, one with a magnificent four poster bed and the other with two comfortable sleigh beds.
The spacious main tent a has superbly appointed lounge, library and dining room. Magnificent trees shade the multi-level teak decks which afford views of the lagoon with its resident hippos or the surrounding bush with animal and bird life. There is a small plunge pool.
The emphasis at Villa Okavango is on privacy and luxury in the heart of the African bush. There is a resident chef and staff and your expert guide organises exclusive game viewing trips, night drives or expeditions on the numerous waterways of the Okavango in a mokoro.
Activities revolve mainly around game viewing and birdwatching. It may be difficult to interact with the elephants from Villa Okavango - if you especially want to do activities with the elephants then we would advise staying at Abu Camp.
