NAMIBIAN HIGHLIGHTS WITH MULE TREKKING IN FISH RIVER CANYON - A GUIDED CAMPING SAFARI - 16 days/15 nights
A wonderful safari for the adventurous - a guided safari taking advantage of some of Namibia's superb and scenic campsites! The itinerary takes you from Windhoek down to the south to the Kalahari Desert, to Fish River Canyon incorporating a four day mule trek, the Tirus Mountains, Namib Naukluft Park, and the dunes at Sossulsvei.
Heading north you spend some time in Swakupmund before heading up the coast to Cape Cross to the Cape fur seal colonies.
Further up the coast you head inland to Uis and the Brandburg Mountains, see the San rock art at Twyfelfontein and then travel on to Damaraland to visit the nomadic Himba tribes and enjoy the stunning scenery.
Continue to Etosha National Park where you camp overnight close to the Okaukuejo waterhole. On the way back to Windhoek you visit Okonjima - home of the Africat Foundation, a specialist conservation concern that centres its operations on the African Big Cats, particularly cheetah.
