Jacana Lodge is set on the edge of Uganda’s larges crater lake Nyamusingire and is well located for games drives on the Mweya Peninsula in Queen Elizabth National Park.
Built on the banks of the Kasinga Channel, Jacana lodge, guests can enjoy bird and game viewing trips on the river. Kyambura Gorge offers a wonderful opportunity to trek to see chimpanzees and colobus monkeys.
Jacana Lodge has ten independent luxury chalets, and a family cottage. Each uniquely themed chalet is spacious and comfortable and all rooms have en-suite washrooms with continuous hot water for showers.
Enclosed verandas have large panoramic windows offering wonderful views of Lake Nyamusingire. Guests can enjoy cooling off in the swimming pool overlooking the lake.
