TANGALA HOUSE - UPPER ZAMBEZI - LIVINGSTONE

Tangala House is a luxurious family home on the banks of the Zambezi River around 15km upstream of Victoria Falls. The house has four bedrooms, three with ensuite bathrooms and a 12m private swimming pool.  Stylishly designed and furnished it comes with a vehicle and boat, chef, waiters and private guide.

Ideal for a Zambia family safari, the House sleeps up to 8 and has a children’s playroom and a spacious kitchen-dining room. The rooms are enclosed, with large glass fitted windows to keep out the insects and enjoy magnificent views across the Zambezi.

Over 145 species of birds have been spotted from the kitchen window and elephant herds can often be seen drinking on the opposite bank.

LOCATION

Tangala House is located on the banks of the Zambezi River just outside Livingstone in Zambia.

HOUSE

Tangala has four bedrooms, three with ensuite bathrooms and raised king-sized beds. Stylishly designed and furnished the house offers a luxurious base for families or small group of friends and is set right on the banks of the Zambezi River.

The living room has a large sofa and two armchairs and leads onto a 'snuggery' with satellite TV, video, WIFI and fireplace. Most of the rooms have very high thatch ceilings and the passages feature 3-4m high Moroccan arches with 1m thick walls.

The swimming pool is 13mx4.5m with an additional shallow area for children and bench seating. In front of the house a grass lawn leads to 250m of private river frontage.

There are no neighbours either side and the veranda easily seats ten and is open thatch with steps onto the lawn towards the swimming pool and the terrace - which has an eight-seat railway sleeper picnic table.

ACTIVITIES AND WILDLIFE

The house offers a range of complementary activities. There is no set itinerary - you are free to book every excursion at a time that fits perfectly with your idea of your ideal holiday. Please note that all park and museum entrance fees are extra.

You will have your own, private guide and host, chef, waiter, housekeeper, pool and grounds attendant, as well as private use of vehicles and boats.
