With uninterrupted views over the Serengeti plains the outdoor dining decks provide vantage points to observe the daily wildlife activity at the busy waterhole nearby.

The house caters for discerning travellers seeking privacy and flexibility and all itineraries, activities and meals are tailor-made as you decide on the day-to-day pace of your holiday There is a full complement of staff to ensure that your every need is catered for intuitively and includes a field guide, chef and host.
Set in the 350,000-acre Grumeti Reserve in the Serengeti in northern Tanzania the house includes private access to an untouched wilderness on the annual wildebeest migration route.
LOCATION
Singita Serengeti House is located in the private Grumeti Reserve in western Serengeti in northern Tanzania. The nearest airstrip is Singita Sasakwa which is around 10 minutes’ drive from the lodge.
HOUSE
The four boldly proportioned suites feature serene views, spacious ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers and private terraces. Laidback luxury sets the tone in the spacious in and outdoor living areas and there is a modern eat-in kitchen, media room, fitness centre, fire pit, outdoor sala and a 25m lap pool. Up to 8 guests can feel at home at Serengeti House, with 2 suites in the main house and 2 garden suites;
The two Suites inside main house include a Double and Twin with ensuite bathroom, inside and outside shower, inside bath and dressing room area.

All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning, overhead fans, digital safe, hairdryer, TV, ensuite bathroom, bathroom amenities, direct dial telephone, veranda. Outside rooms have mini bar and tea/coffee station.
ACTIVITIES
Spanning over 350,000 acres of untouched wilderness, Singita Grumeti is located in western Serengetiin northern Tanzania, forming part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem.
Game drives – daily game drives with professional guides and trackers provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals. The afternoon game drive includes a night drive at the end. Game drives are all conducted in Land Cruisers, each accommodating a maximum of six guests and during your stay you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife including cheetah, bearded wildebeest, bat eared fox, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, zebra and the rare Colobus monkey.
Walking Safaris – get out and stretch your legs in the bush with a professional and experienced guide. This activity is available to those 16 years and older.
Families – all activities at the villa are tailored to specifically suit the interests of each family. In the interest of safety, children may participate in game drives and bush walks at the discretion of dedicated Field Guides. The villa also offers childminding services, as well as an array of activities to keep little ones engaged and entertained. Singita’s Mini Rangers Course is a customised, fun-filled programme that opens up a whole new world to young explorers. It includes learning how to track animals; astronomy; bush survival techniques; game, tree and bird-spotting competitions, as well as nature quizzes.
Community tour – visit the Environmental Education Centre which was developed for the young people of the local communities to meet the students and learn about the programme. The Centre is dedicated to instilling in its students an understanding of the Serengeti Ecosystem and provides education on the rationale behind “protected areas” and on general, local and global environmental issues.
Boutique and Gallery – not your regular curio shop, you will find original treasures that have been gathered from all corners of the African continent.
Premier Wine Boutique – Singita’s cellars are home to some of the most sought-after private reserves and vintage wines and whether you are a connoisseur or just enjoy the occasional glass of wine, experienced sommeliers will introducing you to a vast selection of varietals from all over the world.
Spa, Tennis and Gym – rejuvenate and pamper yourself at the spa or work out in the fully equipped gym.
Swimming – Singita Serengeti House has a 25m swimming pool overlooking the Serengeti Plains.
Balloon Safari – charter a hot air balloon for an unforgettable ride over the treetops of the Serengeti. You’ll skim above the grasslands and acacia forests, and at other times ascend to 1,000 feet to see the enormity of the reserve.
Canine Unit Experience – visit the SGF Canine Unit to meet the handlers and learn more about how this specialized anti-poaching unit works to protect the Grumeti region in the Serengeti. Watch as the dogs use their skills to detect a piece of wildlife contraband hidden for the demonstration. If the dogs are working on tracking, you may be able to experience their ability to track a person through the bush. Due to the sensitive and costly nature of the programme, a donation amount of $500 per person has been set. A minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 guests is allowed per demonstration.
