Location
Canyon Roadhouse is located just 14 km from the main viewpoint of Fish River Canyon, making it the ideal base for exploring the dramatic scenery of Namibia’s south. Set within the Gondwana Canyon Park, it lies amidst rugged rock formations and rolling desert terrain teeming with oryx, zebra, and kudu.
The Lodge
The lodge features 24 air-conditioned en-suite rooms arranged around a lush courtyard and garden. The interior is a treasure trove of vintage cars, old fuel pumps, and quirky memorabilia. The on-site restaurant is a local legend, serving up generous portions of home-cooked Namibian dishes under the gaze of old Chevys and Fords. There’s also a shaded swimming pool to cool off after dusty canyon adventures.
Experiences
Roadhouse guests can enjoy self-guided canyon drives or join guided excursions into Fish River Canyon and the surrounding Gondwana Canyon Park.
