Perched above the endless tranquility of Etosha’s western plains, Dolomite Camp grants rare access through the secluded Galton Gate. You’re embraced by remoteness, buffeted by sweeping skies—and far from the ordinary bustle of park life.
The Camp
This private, unfenced retreat offers 20 elevated luxury chalets on wooden decks, blending seamlessly into the rocky terrain. Guests enjoy solitude and sunsets from private balconies—some suites even boast plunge pools. The main area invites relaxation with its fireside lounge, open-air bar, communal restaurant, and infinity pool with unforgettable views.
Activities & Wildlife
Dolomite is a wildlife-lover’s dream. The area abounds with elephants, rhinos (including black rhino and black-faced impala), giraffe, lion, leopard, springbok, gemsbok, hartebeest, and prolific birdlife—and all drawn to the many waterholes below. Twice-daily game drives traverse the exclusive western corridor, offering deeper, quieter Etosha encounters.

Dolomite Camp is built for immersive connection—not strictly for luxury. With unfenced grounds, wildlife roams freely around your chalet (always with safety support), offering authentic safari intimacy. Still, note that long walkways can be steep and dimly lit.
