Location
Set just outside the eastern gate of Etosha National Park within the Onguma Nature Reserve, The Fort occupies a commanding position with uninterrupted views across the plains. It is one of the most architecturally striking lodges in Namibia, offering both privacy and proximity to wildlife.
The Camp – Accommodation & Style
The Fort features 11 free-standing bush suites, a Sultan Suite in the main tower, and one exclusive honeymoon suite. Each suite offers a private deck, outdoor shower, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and luxury furnishings with African and North African influences. A central courtyard, swimming pool, and sunset-facing bar enhance the lodge’s dramatic ambiance.
Activities & Wildlife Viewing
Guests enjoy daily game drives into Etosha and Onguma Reserve, as well as sunset views over the waterhole, guided bush walks, or spa treatments on request. The Fort’s location also allows for excellent birdwatching and photography opportunities.
Guest Information & Inclusions
Open year-round. Minimum age: 12 years. Includes accommodation, meals, selected drinks, and scheduled activities. Best visited during the dry season (May–October) for peak wildlife viewing, but also stunning during green season (Nov–April).
