Dune Camp is the original Wolwedans property, perched atop a 250-metre high dune with panoramic views across the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Offering a perfect blend of relaxed luxury and natural immersion, this tented camp invites travellers to disconnect and savour the desert’s rhythms in style.

Nestled in the heart of southern Namibia’s private NamibRand Reserve, Dune Camp offers prime access to dramatic desert scenery, crimson dunes, and distant mountain horizons. Its elevated position ensures spectacular sunrises and uninterrupted starry nights.
The Camp – Tented Comfort with a View
Dune Camp accommodates up to 16 guests in six stylish tented suites and a two-bedroom private suite. All structures are raised on wooden decks and feature:
– En-suite bathrooms and private decks
– “Wolwedans Chillers” for passive cooling
– Warm interiors with open or closed canvas walls
The main area includes a fire pit, shared dining table, and tea room—all encouraging social interaction and storytelling.

Guest Information & Inclusions
Dune Camp welcomes guests year-round with minimum stays of two nights. Key details:
– Minimum Age: 7 years
– Inclusions: All meals, drinks (except premium), activities, and transfers within the reserve
– Access: Road or air transfers from Windhoek or Sossusvlei
– Best Time to Visit: April to October for cooler days; November to March for desert bloom
