Desert Lodge – Timeless Comfort in the Namib
Desert Lodge combines the charm of a tented camp with the comforts of a permanent structure. With its elevated location overlooking the dunes and mountains, it is an oasis of tranquillity, warmth, and panoramic beauty.
Location – NamibRand Nature Reserve, Namibia
Set against a backdrop of sweeping desert plains and rugged peaks, Desert Lodge enjoys a prime position within the NamibRand Nature Reserve. Its proximity to the central Wolwedans hub allows for seamless access and coordinated activities.
The Camp – Lodge-Style Tented Retreat
The lodge accommodates up to 20 guests in 10 canvas-and-wood rooms. Each suite includes:
– King-size beds and en-suite bathrooms
– Private verandas with uninterrupted views
– Canvas sides that open or close for comfort
The shared spaces include a lounge, bar, dining area, and deck designed for stargazing and socialising.

– Access: Via road or air from Windhoek or nearby camps
– Best Time to Visit: April to October for mild weather
