WATERBERRY ZAMBEZI LODGE – LIVINGSTONE
Waterberry Lodge is set on the Zambezi riverbank near Victoria Falls and perfectly placed for guests to enjoy total peace and quiet while being close to the Falls and all the adventures that Livingstone has to offer. Away from the noise and bustle of activities around town the perfect silence is enhanced by birdsong, the sound of hyena and lion on the opposite bank and the whistle of frogs along the river’s edge
Choose from bright, individual rooms in the 7-room lodge, a private safari house or a luxury tented woodland site. The lodge is right on the river and has spacious sun and dining terraces, a lounge, magnificent gardens with individual cottages dotted around the lawns and along the river, and a swimming pool surrounded by rockery gardens.
There are lots of activities to choose from – inhouse a sunset river cruise and a visit to a local village and school. Further afield is Victoria Falls and there are so many ways to see them – walk around, climb down to the Boiling Pot, fly over in a helicopter or microlight, raft the rapids, climb under the spray at low water, or swim in Devils Pool at the top of the Falls. Or you can simply enjoy relaxing at the lodge and experience rural Zambian life first-hand – see how tourism is giving back schools, a farming cooperative and adult skills centre.
