Located approximately 50 km south of Anderson Gate—the southern entrance to Etosha National Park—Okutala is easily accessible via self-drive, private shuttle, or fly-in to the lodge’s private airstrip. Its secluded position offers tranquillity and exclusivity, while still placing guests within easy reach of Etosha’s remarkable wildlife.
The Lodge
Okutala Etosha Lodge features 21 well-appointed rooms, including family-friendly inter-leading units, each with air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and private patios that look out across the bush. Elegant furnishings blend rustic wood and stone textures with modern amenities. The main lodge includes two swimming pools, a well-stocked bar, open-air dining areas, a cozy lapa deck, a curio shop, and even a photographic hide overlooking the waterhole.
