DINAKA PRIVATE RESERVE – CENTRAL KALAHARI GAME RESERVE – SOUTHERN BOTSWANA
Dinaka – meaning ‘horns’ – is a small tented camp set in an exclusive private reserve hugging the northern edge of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and is host to one of the most unique bio-diversities in Southern Africa. This ever-changing desert landscape gives refuge to the Kalahari lion, springbok, Oryx and brown hyena.
You can visit the camp year round but from the first rains in November through to April the area comes alive and the desert becomes green as the rains transform the arid desert landscape into a lush profusion of Kalahari vegetation.
