ACTIVITIES
The Ol Kinyei conservancy is exclusive to Porini Camps and makes for an extraordinarily intimate wildlife experience with very few other vehicles sharing your wildlife sightings. The conservancy is a recognized hotspot for the big cats and especially cheetahs and lions which are seen regularly, often with cubs. It is also home to large herds of elephants and plains game for which the Maasai Mara eco-system is famous. Game drives can also be taken in the nearby Maasai Mara National Reserve and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy.
The camp is located close to the Olare Lemunyi watercourse between the White Rock feature on the one hand and a marsh fed by a permanent underground spring that is a magnet for the antelopes and zebras, especially in the dry season. The White Rock is an excellent location for sun downers because of 360 degree views it offers.
Game drives – morning, evening and night shared game drives are offered in the Ol Kinyei Conservancy and the adjacent Naboisho Conservancy with an optional full day spent in Mara National Reserve with picnic lunch
Escorted walks – with Maasai guides,
