FOREST CHEM CHEM – A PRIVATE CONCESSION BORDERING TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Kuungana means ‘to connect’ in Swahili and this is the essence of Forest Chem Chem – it is a place for families and friends to connect with each other, with the bush, with Africa and with themselves. The camp has been designed to bring people together over the warmth of a crackling campfire!
The camp offers the opportunity to explore the game-rich areas bordering Tarangire National Park and Lake Burunge and Forest Chem Chem is only available on an exclusive use basis. With just 3 vintage tents and 1 family tent the camp comfortably sleeps up to eight adults and two children.
With exclusivity comes complete freedom – Forest Chem Chem is in the heart of northern Tanzania in a private wildlife concession and offers access to some wonderful wildlife viewing. The camp is in close proximity to both the Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks and the resurrection of an ancient migratory corridor through the wildlife concession is as a result of the conservation work by the Chem Chem Association.
LOCATION
The camp is set on the Chem Chem – Burunge Wildlife Management Area adjacent to Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania.
