SANCTUARY KICHAKANI SERENGETI CAMP – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp is based in two set locations in the Serengeti and offers the chance to experience the movement of a million-plus wildebeest and zebra as they follow the fresh grasses across the Serengeti plains during the annual migration cycle.
The camp is intimate with just ten luxury safari tents all with wooden decks, en-suite bathrooms and indoor bucket showers. The tents are elegantly furnished with portable cabinets and desks with electric electric outlets and a hairdryer.
LOCATION
Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp moves twice a year with the migration within the Serengeti National Park in northern Tanzania.
CAMP
The camp is an elegant contemporary take on the classic campaign look – Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp has just 10 beautifully furnished under-canvas tents. Each tent has a wooden deck and ensuite bathrooms with safari bucket showers. A personal tent attendant is available around the clock to fill your bucket shower to the perfect temperature.
The main guest area is made up of a central canopied area where the main tent flows into lounges, dining wings and a bar – all with sides that can be opened to enjoy views over the Serengeti.
Meals are prepared by the camp chef – enjoy international flavours alongside kachumbari (traditional Tanzanian salsa), coconut beans, paprika, cinnamon and chilli from nearby Zanzibar.
The whole sand-coloured canvas constructed camp is designed to be moved ensuring the camp has little impact on the environment.

Game Drives – Sanctuary Kichakani Serengeti Camp’s two set locations throughout the year are based on the natural migration path offering wildlife viewing from open plains, sweeping grasslands and rocky kopjes. The Serengeti is known for having the Big Five, cheetah, giraffe, waterbuck, impala, elephants and occasionally wild dog,
