KINONDO KWETU - GALU BEACH
Kinondo Kwetu is situated at the far end of the remote Galu Beach, south of Diani beach. The nearest hotel is 2 km away and therefore the beach is very private. This luxurious lodge is perched right on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean – it is private, serene and a perfect place to rest and relax after your safari.
Kinondo Kwetu is set on Galu Beach, south of Diani Beach on the Kenyan coast.
Kinondo Kwetu has five cottages - three double bedroom cottages, one double bedroom connecting to a single room for a smaller family and one big family suite cottage with double bedroom connecting to a single room downstairs and one double bedroom upstairs.
All are facing and have views of the ocean, have ensuite bathrooms, a private furnished veranda and are air conditioned.
Every room and cottage has its own personalized charm as it is furnished and decorated with Swahili culture handicraft and antiquities. Many rooms are able to accommodate more than two people.
Mama Taa Villa is perfect for both couples and families. The villa has one Honeymoon Suite, one family suite, four family inter-connecting rooms and two double rooms. All rooms are sold separately, have ensuite bathrooms, a verandah or balcony and are air conditioned.
Mama Tina Villa rooms are a good option for families who would like to have their teenage kids in their own room as a cheaper option. It has one double bedroom which is airconditioned, two bedrooms with a ceiling fan, and sharing a bathroom.
Alex House is a private villa for families and has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and one open plan living room/kitchen.
The lodge has a nature inspired our food concept and they aim create dishes which have a foundation for the respect of organic natural, locally sourced and produced products - with the characteristics of African coastal flavours.
At Kinondo Kwetu you can find a wide range of different activities for all ages - if you like. But it is perfectly fine to just lay on a sunbed all day. Please find a selection of activities that the lodge can book for you which can be paid for locally:
