HANSA HOTEL – SWAKOPMUND
The Hansa Hotel is located in the centre of Swakopmund, just off the main street, on Hendrik Witbooi Street. It is only a few minutes’ walk away from the main beach, shops, cafés, restaurants, craft markets and boutiques.
The hotel is housed in a timelessly classical building dating from 1905 – an integral part of Swakopmund’s architectural heritage – and is both luxurious and sophisticated with an elegant interior.

Hansa Hotel is located in the centre of Swakopmund on Namibia’s coast.
Arriving from Windhoek (B2 East) – on entering Swakopmund, continue on Dr Sam Nujoma Ave into town and at the 3rd traffic light turn right into Hendrik Witbooi Street. Hansa Hotel will be on your left.

Each of the hotel’s 5 family units, 4 suites and 49 twin/double rooms are individually furnished and decorated and are fitted and furnished with under tile and/or carpet heating, 15 television and radio channels, direct dial telephones, hairdryers, safes, coffee and tea making facilities and ensuite bathrooms.
The hotel has two restaurants – the Terrace where lunch is offered – and the Equestrian Room where a full English breakfast is served in the morning and a la carte dinner in the evening. Further there is a Bar, two function rooms (with function equipment available), two computer stations, Wi-Fi covering the entire hotel and 16 secure parking spaces, available.
ACTIVITIES AND WILDLIFE
Swakopmund has always been the jewel of Namibia’s coastline and has built a reputation as adrenaline-filled destination. The Namib dunes surrounding Swakopmund are some of the highest in the world. The infamous Dune 7 measures an incredible ± 383m. So, it’s not surprising that the area is becoming renowned for its professionally run tourist activities like sandboarding, quad biking, skydiving and desert safaris.
If you’re not into adrenaline activities then choose between spectacular beaches, craft markets, museums, fishing and cruises along the coast. You can also enjoy flights and excursions around Swakopmund and trips to Cape Cross Seal colony.
