Tracks Safaris are delighted to offer this small group safari – maximum just six guests – staying in comfortable tented Wilderness Safaris Camps in the key highlight areas of Botswana.
November is the start of the green season in Botswana – an exciting time to visit when the first rains are expected which will cool the air and settle the dust. Right at the end of the hot season wildlife viewing will be sensational as everyone awaits the rains with anticipation – once the rains arrive lots of the animals will give birth and you will see shoots of green start to appear everywhere heralding the time of plenty. The rains may be early or they may be late – but your safari is superb value for money as the prices drop on the 1st November.
Travelling by light aircraft from Maun you will first fly up to Linyanti Tented Camp for 3 nights. Linyanti Tented Camp is situated right on the Linyanti Marshes in the private Linyanti Concession and the area enjoys diverse and prolific wildlife and birding.
Your next camp is Pelo Camp situated on a tiny palm island in the private Jao Concession of the Okavango Delta. With just 5 comfortable ensuite tents you can have 3 days to expolore the Okavango Delta on foot on game walks, mokoro and boat and enjoy fabulous sundowners on the water!
You will will then fly down to the Central Kalahari Reserve for 3 nights staying at Kalahari Plains Camp. Kalahari Plains lies in a remote part of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and offers outstanding game viewing opportunities including the chance to see the famous Black Maned Lions, cheetah, bat eared foxes, the wonderful honey badgers amongst other desert wildlife!
9 nights in comfortable tented camps seeing the key highlights of Botswana with excellent guiding – this safari will sell fast!
Activities include: 4 x 4 safaris, night drives, walking safaris, fishing (on request), boat safaris and sundowners, star beds, mokoros, helicopter safari (on request and will be extra)
