Your journey will commence in Livingstone at Toka Leya – perched right on the edge of the Zambezi River and a superb place to chill out after your flight and see Victoria Falls from the Zambian side. You will then be transferred across the border to Botswana and on to Kasane where you will board your light aircraft flight down to the Linyanti and on to Kings Pool – famous for its huge herds of elephants and good wild dog sightings.
Another flight will take you down to the Okavango Delta and on to the stunning Jao Camp – set within the private Jao Concession – where you will enjoy game drives, water based activities and walking safaris. You will then fly to a contrasting Okavango Delta camp – Vumbura Plains – for a different Delta experience.
Your last stop on your Botswana Wilderness Experience is Jacks Camp down in the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans – one of the most flamboyant camps in Africa set in a dramatic desert landscape. Enjoy luxurious accommodation, game drives with the chance of seeing desert adapted wildlife, spending some time with the meerkats, and quad biking on the salt pans (in dry season).
