Wilderness Safaris offers one of the best wildlife flying safari experiences and this high end Wilderness Experience from Wilderness Safaris and Jacks Camp gives you the chance to enjoy wonderful tented camps in superb locations within private concessions, and outstanding guiding.
Your journey starts in Livingstone at Toka Leya – perched right on the edge of the Zambezi River and a superb place to chill out after your international flights and spend some time seeing Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. You will then be transferred across the border to Botswana and on to Kasane where you will board your light aircraft flight down to Savute and on to Savute Safari Camp – famous for its huge herds of elephants and good predator sightings.
Another light aircraft flight will take you to the north of the Okavango Delta and Little Vumbura in the private Vumbura Concession – where you will enjoy game drives water based activities and walking safaris. A second contrasting Okavango Camp – Chitabe Lediba – is set in one of the Delta’s outstanding wildlife viewing areas.
Your last stop will be the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans down in the south of Botswana and 3 nights at Jacks Camp – one of the most flamboyant camps in Africa set in a dramatic desert landscape. Enjoy luxurious accommodation, game drives with the chance of seeing desert adapted wildlife, spending some time with the meerkats, and quad biking on the salt pans (in dry season).
